A local name for Timbre Ridge's only watering hole. The Speakeasy has been here since before the Prohibition, and is a very well guarded secret. Hidden on Timbre Ridge Manor's spacious grounds, it's well sequestered within the walls of the Manor's stone monument. The monument itself almost resembles a large stone coffin, decorated lavishly with etchings of the Verondi family crest. To make thing even more eerie, there are many legends that manor itself was once home to a warren of vampires. Of course, Timbre Ridge is no stranger to odd occurrences, but the world may never know the truth of the place as Timbre Ridge Manor is private property, and the Verondi family is very selective about who they let into their little club. Still, one has to wonder...

Timbre Ridge Manor was built by the founders of Timbre Ridge, who's mysterious descendants still live there. The Verondi family isn't known to be the most sociable of neighbors, but they mostly keep to themselves and don't bother anyone else, so they're more often than not left to their own devices. However, many a rumor surrounds the place. Strange sounds comes from the grounds of the manor, and their coachman, who still drives an old fashioned horse and carriage, is always delivering unseen guests too and from the manor. Of course, there's also the matter of the legends about the family itself, but those are just silly folk tales, right?

The Down of Timbre Ridge is a sleepy old farm town located deep in the mountainous woodlands of South Dakota. It doesn't see much tourist traffic, but it's small population seems to find plenty of ways to entertain itself. Plus, there are always the stories of ghosts, werewolves, and other strange things that permeate the place. The local teens often take it upon themselves to go out into the woods together to scare each other silly. Other than that, the town plays host to the prominent Verondi family, who lives on a wide stretch of land in a manor located further into the woods.

The forests, the mountains, and the lakes surrounding Timbre Ridge are some of the best hunting territory around. They're also some of the most dangerous. There are a lot of ghost stories surrounding Timbre Ridge, and disappearances are not unheard of. Despite these warnings though, the local youth still get a kick out of camping just out of town and scaring the daylights out of each other. Occasionally, though, they get a lot more than they bargained for.

Here is where the actual freeplay roleplays are to take place! Roleplay whatever you want at what ever level you want! Remember though, thread creators make the rules for their threads, and if you don't follow them, they have the right to ask you to leave.
